How to evaluate the quality of a plush toy

Aug 12, 2023

1. Appearance

Firstly, the appearance is our first impression of plush toys. Good toys have strict quality control in terms of design, material selection, production, and logistics. A good toy must have a cute and realistic appearance, especially the head of the toy. The face of a good toy must have been meticulously crafted by the designer, succinctly and clearly expressing rich expressions of joy or sadness. On the other hand, inferior dolls, due to the lack of qualified design, are generally perceived as' not at all good-looking 'at first glance.

Secondly, due to the rigorous selection of materials and production techniques, a good doll must have bright and rich colors. However, low-quality dolls are generally processed with chemicals, resulting in slight grayness and fading in color.

2. Odor

After seeing the appearance, we can approach the doll and use our noses to judge its quality. Due to the seriousness of material selection, high-quality dolls have strict control over the exterior and interior fillers. Poor quality dolls often use poor fillers such as black cotton. Such fillers can emit a significant chemical odor or a strong musty odor. Believe that such dolls will not only not become little companions for children's growth, but also become "time bombs" around them!

3. Hand feel

Next, we can pick up (pick up) the doll in front of us. A good doll has rigorous material selection, and the touch must be soft and smooth, with an incredibly smooth surface. Poor quality dolls, due to poor processing, can greatly reduce their feel. Some fabrics are rough and knotted, while others have a stiff feel.

In addition, we can gently press the doll, and if it quickly bounces back to the original plush toy, it can basically be concluded that it is a high-quality doll. Poor quality dolls may rebound slowly or even deflate directly!

4. Suture opening

As the final step, we can check the stitching work of the doll. As a doll, sewing after filling is the most important step. Poor quality dolls have messy stitches and even exposed fillers or excess threads. And high-quality dolls have more neat and neat seams, with no leakage of padding or long exposed threads
